Welcome to the Centre for Critical Research in Nursing & Midwifery at Middlesex University, London. The Centre was originally founded in December 2015 by Professors Helen Allan, Sue Dyson and Michael Traynor. The aim of the Centre is to bring a critical approach to research that looks at nursing work, whether analyses of policy or evaluations of the local health economy in London.
Since 2015, the Centre, the individuals working in it, and Middlesex University have been through many changes. This blog is continuing, after many of the founding members have moved on from employment at the university, in order to highlight topics and events relevant to a critical research centre in nursing and midwifery.
